Plastic is a major contributor to environmental pollution, causing a range of problems, including:

  • Littering: Plastic waste often ends up in oceans, rivers, and other natural habitats, harming wildlife and damaging ecosystems.

  • Microplastics: Over time, plastic breaks down into tiny particles called microplastics, which can contaminate our food, water, and air.

  • Greenhouse gas emissions: The production, transportation, and disposal of plastic contribute to greenhouse gas emissions and climate change.

  • Non-biodegradable: Most plastics take hundreds of years to decompose, meaning that the plastic waste we produce today will continue to pollute the environment for generations to come.

By choosing plastic-free packaging, Choco Doodle doo is helping to reduce these environmental impacts and promote a more sustainable future.

Our  plastic - free  packaging  is made from renewable resources and can be composted or recycled, reducing the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and the environment. It's a small but impactful change that can make a big difference in the long run.

We only use sustainably sourced paper. Many products carry the FSC® label, showing that they are made with material from FSC-certified forests.

Some of  the  benefits  of  using  recycled  &  compostable  packaging:

Recycled paper uses fewer resources and generates less pollution compared to paper made from virgin trees. This helps to reduce the impact on forests and biodiversity.

Recycled paper can be recycled multiple times, as long as the paper fibers remain strong enough. This makes it a more sustainable choice than single-use paper products.

Using recyclable paper packaging helps to reduce waste by allowing the material to be reused in the production of new paper products.

Paper recycling conserves water too! It takes much less water to produce paper from recycled materials compared to paper made from virgin trees.

Paper is one of the most cost-effective and eco-friendly materials available. It’s easily recycled, and it’s easy to compost commercially or domestically once it can be recycled no more.

Compostable packaging breaks down quickly under the right environmental conditions. Once fully decomposed, there will be no trace of its existence, benefiting soil quality and significantly reducing landfill waste. Compostable packaging products are typically made from naturally occurring, plant-based or recycled materials.

Compostable packaging has a small carbon footprint. The manufacturing process requires only a small amount of energy when compared to producing packaging using raw materials, especially things like plastic.

By using recyclable & compostable packaging, we're helping to build a circular economy where materials can be reused and repurposed, reducing the need for virgin resources and minimizing waste.
